Big Boss
Ceballos has produced two massive songs that he played. I believe it's called Go Tech and Go 1.

I had a much better time at this party than at lawler mostly based on the fact that I remember it.

Chus was definitely on form as always.

c&c did it again for me! it wasn't the best set i've heard them spin, but by no means was it bad. i was really shocked with how busy it was. there was still tons of room to move though. it was good to see so many familiar faces out, and to see so many toronto locals there just partyin' it up.

i agree with you cribby that there were way too many g monkeys there. i witnesses some pretty big fights. i saw one guy get tackled by about 4 other guys right in the middle of the dance floor. there was blood everywhere. a bit of a buzz kill.

here are my pics:

PICTURES!

i took a few vids, but they didn't turn out that good. this was the best one:

Sick track...who is this cat?

I've never spun beats, not EDM anyways, but I have one question:

When you're spinning two tracks together (and it sounded like 3 decks were used a lot during this set), and you kill one track so there's no beat, don't you typically bring it back on multiples of a 4 or 8 count?

He was so off with that, obviously just not paying attention, and I almost fell over a couple times trying to keep up with his games. Sick beats and mixing, but that annoyed me over and over, to the point where he would shut down a channel, and I'd make it a point to count, in the hopes he would actually bring it back on 4 or 8.

Unless this is just the OCD me, in which case you should disregard everything in this post, save for the video. :thepirate

Bro, I lost it right there. I look over, and my buddy has my camera, taking the vid. I remember telling RJ & Margs that I had that opening track on vid...

I ain't no expert but yea, that's how it should be imo.

As for the party, I had a blast. Not a big fan of the pounding tunes but C&C manage to keep a good rhythm going. Some moments were "meh", but that's when I hit the patio for some fresh air. Would've preferred a different style of his in a setting like that (Funk D'Void, Asad Rizvi, etc) but the "tribalness" didn't detract from the vibe.

Crowd was horrible (minus the pretty ladies in short skirts)

lol. David, it was quite funny how excited you were about getting that on video. I remember telling RJ, "Boy, he is happy about his friend getting that video!"
