Yes this is a serious thread. With 2 jobs and school, I'm barely having much energy and I don't even party that much anymore. I'm really watching what I eat now and I try to get in 30 minutes of cardio but I was wondering if you guys take any supplements?
What do you guys take on a daily basis? (Other than the given, multi-vitamin and 5-HTP). |

| I steer away from supplements (except for my whey protein) cause I get mostly everything I need from my food. I add Wheat Germ to my breakfast (which consists oatmeal, fat free milk, and berries). I drink one Muscle Milk shake a day. Eat lots of fruits and veggies, and drink OJ. I focus mostly on getting enough protein though. |

| I agree with CrazedOut, if you have a clean diet you won't have to worry too much about supplementing. However, there are some that everybody needs and most likely deficient in, such as Omega 3 from fish oil. I would take 1000 mg of Fish oil and keep taking the multivitamin. Make sure it's not one of those Walmart brand or the Centrum crap. |

In addition to a multi-vitamin I take:
100mg Idebenone – Potent anti-oxidant, promotes nerve growth factor in your brain, energy enhancement, etc. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idebenone)
Bee Pollen – Many people state that it’s natures most perfect food. Bee Pollen holds TONS of natural vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Most multi-vitamins are made synthetically through a chemical process.
Omega 3
Fish Oil
100mg 5-HTP occasionally |

With all that ^ I wouldn't be able to get up or stay awake! Coffee and all those quicker-picker-uppers knock me out!
Different people with different body types, life styles, and different age groups need different supplements & vitamins if any.
There one thing that keeps me going and it ain't any of the things already mentioned. :toothless |

| Id stay away from the energy supp. drinks. whey is the way to go. Find one that works for you (calorie level, protein, etc.). Also multivitamins are the best. Just take whatever you need and not what sounds like something you might need. |

Everyone should be taking a Digestive Enzyme before every meal.
Unless you eat raw food all day. |
