I constantly correct a new friend of mine who calls eurodance "techno".
Its a running joke between us now, where she'll deliberately call it techno bc she knows I'll correct her each and every time.
I too very much dislike it, and find it interesting that most all electronic music is referred to as "techno" when non-electronic music listeners hear it.

OMFG Amen.... this is absolutely brutal.... its quite irritating but you can not blame people who are completely oblivious... and I will rehash what has been already stated in this thred... educate them... if they give you a hard time its because they truly don't want to listen to what you have to say in which case you atleast made a solid attempt at trying to help them understand |
