I think by this point in time Menno might have been on edge as is. I am sure you would get frustrated if there wasn't a DJ pass for you at the hotel you where told to stay at and then encounter problems at the door to get in when you are the entertainment. To me it seems he held himself together as long as he could and that was his breaking point. The sound had already been turned off a couple of times leading up to this event and I would think that Menno's reaction is based on that. I personally would think the sound guy was trying to turn me off because of everything previous. Just my .02 cents. Though I agree Zack he should have tried to keep his cool but I think there may have been some factors that need to be considered for the reaction. |

| that sucks 4 menno,but sound techs have to do there jobs the old shelter had a sound tech that was a real douche he used to set everything and threatin to turn off if we peaked ...not for nothing sound systems are loads of money therefore have to be taken care of.Also imo menno wud of layed that dude out ...im glad to see he is looking at it in a positive way as does happen |

I agree... And since we don't have video or an audio feed to hear what the guy said to him, we can't judge either way. I think after all the bs he went through it took alot of will power to not knock this dude's ass out in a "shoot the messenger"-style. You can see from the video that he held back alot. I give him credit for that. Not sure if i could do it or not... |

he took away an EFX box, and a cd CASE...and like Freak said, that EFX box could have been taken away for an infinite number of reasons...maybe it was broke..he mentions that the sound was cutting out during the night....when an efx box is hooked up to a mixer that can make the sound quality sound bad, and even cut out...for all we know he was taking it down to prevent further sound issues. and a cd case is hardly essential to a dj's set.
I'm playing devil's advocate here...I just think its funny that people are overlooking the fact that Menno was the first person to get physical. I'm sure he is a great guy, but in no way shape or form does is a dj, big time or not, justified in putting his hands on a sound technician. |
