When was DC10 shut down, I heard they moved Circo Loco to the Mullitover party in the hills on Monday mornings. I am not sure if that is the case anymore since DC10 technically re-opened.

I really want to stay around there next year, but it's hard finding a better deal on accommodation :whip: |

Yup, same here. I blame this movie for my addiction thats for sure. If i couldnt sleep i used to click it on and then i would be able to pass out with visions of grandeur. |

don't the Cocoon afterparties move around a bit? i know they usually get shut down but not after going on for a while.
the Mullitover parties do not appear to be weekly so i think i'll miss that one.
there is the Nude afterhours at the El Corso hotel bar friday mornings...good choice after FMIF if one is still wanting to party. |

My wife and I went last year for 8 days and it was memorable, but it is pricey and the hotels really suck. They are worse than south Beach during WMC in that you don't get what you pay for, but worse. When we first got there, our hotel was cancelled simply because they could. The rates had gone up and I guess they gave the room to somebody who paid more. I offered to pay whatever, but they wouldn't give it to us. We eneded up at some crummy hotel the 1st three days, then when the Pacha hotel became available we moved there and that was nice, but it was well over $500/night. It wasn't $500+ nice, though.
So you will also have expensive cover, drinks, etc. Was it worth it ? Sure ! I think the trip is better if you go with people you know. Most people at the clubs seemed very suspicious of each other. It's hard to explain. People were friendly but at a distance.
We are going back this year around Sept 4-12 only becasue we are going to be in Spain already for something completely unrelated.
I haven't booked a hotel yet but would love to share a nice villa or something like that in case anybody knows or has a connection for one.
After 8 days, we really figured it out, so if you have any questions just ask. It was a little helpful that I can speak Spanish, but not critical by any means. |
