The other amusing observation I have on this is the perception that bosses don't notice people goofing around all the time when there's quiet periods.
Because regardless of the industry you work in, there's always something to do. It might not be very much but at least if you're being proactive, interested and energetic about making the most of quiet time in the company for the company while you're taking their wages, it does count. In all honesty when I'm looking to get figures up, the dead wood lying around gets axed.

dagnabbit.

I'm paying for my laziness this week.

It's 6:30 on a friday, everyone else has long left for the pub; I'm sitting here drinking red bull, listening to psy-trance and chugging through these ing tenders I should have been doing yesterday. :D

Will be here at least til 8 or 9pm.

I just realised that things haven't changed much since university. I still leave everything to the last minute.

; I drank too much Red Bull, now I can hardly see straight (literally, my eyes are wiggling), let alone work.

I had two of the 330ml ones in less than an hour. I never drink the stuff so it has an increased effect on me.

Started my internship in the law firm and OMG i've never been working like that :(

like yeah i've been busy by the past at work but i didnt expect that i would actually do some SERIOUS Work over there

i spend 8 hours a day resolving law cases or re making some resolved cases trying to understand what happened ....

and then i have to explain why it has been made this way ,why some articles of a code have been used instead of others ones

when im usually done with a case , i have to go present the whole thing to one of the lawyer and it stresses me out

anyway friday afternoon = off so it's the week end already

but damn i discover the true face of being a lawyer

and it sounds ....far from what i was thinking (yeah i was naive)

It's 10:50pm, and I just finished all my work...finally!

Now I can go home, shower, eat, and go out somewhere; yes!

I worked at the Junior and Senior school so ages 4/5 -> 18/19

There were hot teachers but not hot enough to bother giving a red hot go and risking being labeled a perv, It's not the kinda place you want to be seen, esp considering there are only about 3 other males on staff.

As for the students, if they even think you want to give one of them a jab then you will be sent packing.

that is hilarious!

I work, I have this itch that provokes me to work, and it makes it hard to slack... unless my boss wants to slack too. If he slacks, I slack too. Doesn't ever happen though.. :sadgreen:
