That's just the problem - It's twelve of one and a dozen of the other. Kanye stepped out of the Hip Hop boundaries with something off the beaten path of most 'heads and morphed it into something accessible and catchy. So to be, that's stretching the limits.
Speaking of stretching the limits, those shutter-lens aviators are some bugged out . |

The real heads don't like this track that much.
I didn't care for the original too much, def. not something to write about, and this cover/remix/whatever isn't anything special either.
I do like the way Kanyé is willing to try new things though. Hip hop is founded on the fact that they 'sample' other genres and tracks (eg. James Brown, blues, motown, rock, etc..). Most of you Top 40 turned EDM elitists know alot less about 'MUSIC' than you give yourselves credit for. |

Everyone should really stop bashing other genres. Most ppl here love to bash hiphop but don't know about it. Hip Hop and Rap do have different subdivions and sounds. You find a few artist out there that you hear on the radio and say ...WOW THEY SUCK...ITS ALL THE SAME. Why don't you listen to some underground hip hop....i guarantee that you would be very surprised. If you don't give it a chance...then you are the ignorant one.
Hate to burst the bubble, but just because you like EDM, does not mean everything else is complete . Its like someone hearing "This is not Miami" or "Put Your Hands up for Detroit" and say "WOW EDM IS GARBAGE...ITS ALL THE SAME...ITS CRAP....WAY TO BE CREATIVE". Some of you would be quick to fight back saying...."Wow ppl are soo ignorant, judging a whole genre by 2 tracks that are overplayed, commercialized and mediocre at best". So...stop being ignorant! And if you really wanna start bashing another genre of music, then please take time to learn more about it.
Hip hop was made on sampling??? and EDM has never sampled? RIGHT:rolleyes:
The point is, there are tons of genres of music. Not everyone has to like everything! Listen to what you like, but be respectful of others.
One final note: I find that EDM fans are quick to point out how ignorant other people are of EDM....but in fact they themselves are the most ignorant.
