meh.

The real heads don't like this track that much.

I didn't care for the original too much, def. not something to write about, and this cover/remix/whatever isn't anything special either.

I do like the way Kanyé is willing to try new things though. Hip hop is founded on the fact that they 'sample' other genres and tracks (eg. James Brown, blues, motown, rock, etc..). Most of you Top 40 turned EDM elitists know alot less about 'MUSIC' than you give yourselves credit for.

+1 agreed with everything said

I might be really stoned, but that bitchfest is sexy on you.

the wonderful thing about hip hop is that their artists get old quick, I think Kanye is due for a departure anytime soon.

Oh high and mighty I challenge your view point. Ask 10 hip hop fans to name 2 godfathers of techno music including what city it was originally created in and then ask 10 EDM fans to name 2 godfathers of hip hop and its birthsplace.

I will predict that more EDM fans will know the answers then hip hop.

i doubt that either group will know

I doubt that many EDM fans know about the block parties in the Bronx during the 70s...or that they know who DJ Kool Herc is

Mute point. Hip-Hop is mainstream. Has been for years. "History of" or "origins of" are regularly discussed on popular music channels. Rappers pay homage to the 'originators' during performances, grammy acceptance speeched, and in their lyrics.

EDM does not get a fraction of this type of coverage/exposure of its history or origins.

I can't watch a tv show about the different 'era's' in EDM. I have to educate myself online, and on message boards.

See that's a good point. I guess what I was trying to say is that I find ppl who enjoy music that is not in the mainstream tend to be more educated to various forms of music. The mainstream generally spoon feeds the masses.
