Also, people listing stuff like salaries, and decent co-workers, getting to look at fitties, etc - I'd hardly called these 'perks.' They're part of the package of having a decent job, or at most a nice little bonus to go with it. Not a perk I don't think.

Another perk I'd forgotten to mention is that we have a good deal with the hotel at the National Badminton centre (about 3 minutes drive from my house) - So, when all the remote users come from afar to meetings at our head office every month, they stay here, and as such all staff including head office workers get to use the courts after hours for free. The company also give the remote users a generous allowance for dinner, so after we're done playing, they always take the rest of us out for a meal on their tabs, as it's way more than they can possibly spend in a night.

I'm sitting here right now slightly tipsy courteous of my company. Awesome. :toothless Quite odd I forgot to write that one in my first post, as it was going out tonight on the company that made me think about making this thread in the first place. Haha, muppet.

Eh my company has a few decent perks though many I don't take advantage of:

-15% discount on stock options
-Double matching contributions on 401k
-Too many sick days to keep count of
-Pay closing costs of buying a house
-Interest free loans to buy computer equipment
-Free health/dental/vision insurance

The most important perk though, the one that means the most is:

-25 vacation days excluding holidays. Not bad in the US.

It accomodates my travelling lifestyle.

Some things just come naturally. However, good practice is key, and that easily comes from talking to people like you.
