I'm sure they have said that since 2003, probably because it has been evolving since then.
I'm not sure what tunes you're listening to, maybe they don't fit into your liking but everyday I enjoy trance more. There are some great artists out now that were virtually inexistent a couple of years ago and they are doing great things. |

I love trance music. I can never get enough of it. But i do agree with Tiesto's words that today you cant just be 1 dimensional in the genre you prefer.
Theres just so many tunes that cross boundaries and lead into so many different things its hard to say this is my genre |
