You mean they're becoming stale and obsolete now? :wtf:

I listen to it, and just about every other EDM genre. I have broad tastes.

I will say that I've been getting very housey lately.

ARE stale and obsolete..

Sorry haha :nervous:
Mr Game+Watch
I do, of course. I'll listen to most types of electronic dance music, except I'm not big on anything too hardcore, too soulful, or too minimal.

Trance is evolving. Into Tech, into House, diverging with other genres. Every day the production quality gets better. But every day, It moves further away from the stuff that got people into trance in the first place. Super saws and 5 minutes breakdowns are becoming stale and obsolete and we complain that trance is dead.

I listen to trance still, but its definition gets broader and broader every day.

People have been saying this since 2003, yet somehow trance sounds exactly the same as then, only more uninspired and desperate.

I like trance but it isn't my favorite.

I'm sure they have said that since 2003, probably because it has been evolving since then.

I'm not sure what tunes you're listening to, maybe they don't fit into your liking but everyday I enjoy trance more. There are some great artists out now that were virtually inexistent a couple of years ago and they are doing great things.

Such as...... sean tyas? I believe you but I have to know what you are listening to to agree. Frankly A lot of people say the same thing but then they meantion people like tyas, or durand.

I love trance music. I can never get enough of it. But i do agree with Tiesto's words that today you cant just be 1 dimensional in the genre you prefer.

Theres just so many tunes that cross boundaries and lead into so many different things its hard to say this is my genre
