| I have Enjoyed the ISOS series from Tiësto, consistently great track selection, fluid mixing, and good work tweaking everything and producing a great-sounding mix in the studio. Looking forward to see what ISOS 6 holds, I have no doubt it will be good. The ISOS series has been a step way above the other projects Tiesto has done, in my opinion, his production albums tend to be watered down or undependable, not the banging mainfloor Tiesto sound that we get in the ISOS mixes, but the production of his own tracks is even nowhere near as good as the artists he is sampling with his mix productions (namely in ISOS mix albums) |

mmmm i'd argue he's done other compilations that are more banging than his ISOS series... i still love the ISOS series though and am excited to hear what he's got.

Hmm the ISOS series was never about the banging mainroom style Tiesto uses at the end of most of his gigs. It was more the proggy deeper and vocal side to his style that was always expressed in ISOS. Nyana which was more clubby based was more in tune with the style you speak of these days |

Yeah, come to think of it, you are right...the ISOS is very progressive sounding, laden with tons of vocal tunes, vocal riffs, it is very 'laid back' but yet driving - that's what I was trying to get at, it's not banging like a Live set would be, but it's also not purely electronic-nondance/vocal/experimental that you might find on one of his artist albums - the ISOS series has always seemed danceable to me, very proggy/groovy/get down music, very driving...but I guess it's not 'banging' in the sense of what you would see him throwing down at a liveshow to 10,000 people. |

To spice up this thread just a little bit more :p
This compilation will include "16 Bit Lolitas - Get Lifted (Dub)" and a new Schössow production.
Btw, no high expectations for this at all. |

I dont expect much either. Hes should have done another one like Nyana. Even before that the ISOS series had kind of run its course for me. |

Me too, especially when there was a falling tendency of quality with each new ISOS. But despite that I'm looking forward to hear it. |

No official source ... information came from a guy who mastered the tracks for this compilation. |
