watching coverage live on CBS HD.
the damage is very extensive. :(
rescue operations are ongoing.
i live near the twin cities.
edit;
news reports are stating that 50+ vehicles are stranded on sections of the bridge.
after getting a much better look at the damage, it looks like a bridge after demolition charges have been placed on key locations and blown.
i hope that is not the case. |

HOLY ! i'm watching puala zahn now, and they're showing this thing - my God, its a horrible site!
they're just saying now that not to call the Minneapolis cell phone #s unless absolutely necessary (texting, like others have already done) is preferred.
