Good things that have come of reality television?

I was trying to think of some today, and honestly - I came up with absolutely none.
Anyone? Positive aspects of reality television?

Actually, I just thought of a possible one - it can help you figure out whether or not someone is an idiot.
Big reality TV fan? Probably an idiot. 
So that could be positive - unless that is, you realize you're surrounded by idiots, in which case it would probably be better just to live in some degree of ignorance. |

I'll admit that its entertaining while stoned sometimes. But about as entertaining as a Geico commercial.
