| How about "nightmare trance"(not to be confused with horrortrance)? dark trance with really scary synth effects, ala MIKE - hollow dream and intruder |

let me give it a shot:
Mine would be called "skip-house"
3/4 essential drum pattern in any sequence. bongos and multiple basslines flying everywhere. trumpets, scratching, 303 acid sounds, hard synths and beautiful breakdowns when needed. It would be the deffinition of groove. 135- 142 bpm. I'd see guys like james holden, james zabiela, nic fanciulli, danny howells, steve lawler, cattaneo, diggers and sasha playing this. |

Zombie house.
Prog house at 60 BPM, possibly interjected with random samples of moaning, grunting and shouting of the word 'brains'. |
Haha. |

call me crazy but i think it can be done
it would sound kind of interesting with a very very buzzy bass, not farty, but buzzy and throbbing
listen
if used hypnotically and subtley it could be really cool
throw an offbeat bass in there and some white noise and you have a minimal jew techno track |

Jew Breaks

I would like to see some combination between hard funky groovy bassline techno (Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, Misstress Barbara), and oldskool breakbeat with piano synths and samples, oldschool trance (early 1990s) but with modern day synth and sequencing (and possibly creative use of Ableton live with mixing), and the driving force of a hardcore set/eurodance sans the cheeze element. Basically what you get is a fullout musical symphony with mind-stimulating/enticing elements that is raver-esque and not too annoying to listen to, something you can actually find your groove on the floor, and the set/DJ will be exciting enough to keep your attention for several hours.
I guess sort of like a modern day trancey version of The Prodigy, a bit harder, more synth and piano, with a 2007 approach in regards to production technique and creative options (such as ableton) |
