i know one cz bouncer that has pulled sunday 6am until monday 4am shift. he said its hard but its good money. |

- about 8-9 years ago, I was Soundfactory in NYC and I came upon this totally cute chick who was completely naked, and just dancing away like she didn't give a damn. Kinda reminded me of that Seinfeld ep, cause even though she was hot, there are some angles that you just don't want to see a woman in. Still, it was a vivid experience that ranks right up there as one of the sketchiest of all time.
- Also in NYC@Vinyl sometime in 2000, a couple of us were at Danny Tenaglia's GU:London release party when it got raided by about 50 NYPD pigs on some bull drug bust. They stormed in mid set, arrested 5-6 club dealers, forced all of us to sit on the ground while they perp walked the bad drug dealers out...I just so happened to have a significant stash on me that nite so I was ting bricks cause I could hear the K9 unit out there. So, I turned to my girl at the time and we both scarfed down like 5 pills each and then began handing them out to whoever was around us. The party ended up being a bust, but we did manage to walk out without being charged. That was one sketchy night though. :D
- Saw a guy G out, begin to spasm on the floor -- t'was ed up, cause later on we heard he died. Sketchy, but not in a good way.
- Saw a kid get stabbed, and was around Fluid in Toronto when a dude got capped in his thigh. Again, sketchy - and exciting at the time cause the adereline starts going when you see that . But not in a good way.
Just a few of the crazy stories I've lived through. |

I have seen someone right after getting stabbed and it messed me up for a solid week, can't imagine what it's like to actually see someone get stabbed, that's ed right up. |

This isn't my story.
But...
My buddy was pretty mangled/tired, so he wanted to sit on the nice comfy couch in front of him...
The only problem was IT WASN'T A COUCH it was A SKETCHY ASIAN sitting down in the middle of the floor of Comfort Zone.
My buddy thought a person sitting on the floor was a couch. Now, we've all tripped out and imagined things before, but thinking a person sitting on the floor was a couch and then having to apologize to the person and saying, "sorry I thought you were a couch".

I saw 15 asian guys attack another 15 asian guys... knifes came out and people were stabbed.
that was a pretty major buzz kill. |

asian people are pretty serious when it comes to fights. we may be small and all but we are relentless. we snap and go in these rages. now to add to this thread, one that most comes to mind was at ultra spin 9 in kh. some guy just dropped in front of me in a seizure, most likely from the strobes cuz they were hitting really hard at that point. took this picture pretty much right before it happened.
his gf just went ballistic. yelling at everyone to call an ambulance and to get help. it was a major buzz kill, like no one knew what to do cuz it happened so fast. finally someone got one of the bouncers to come and it took 3 of them to carry the guy out cuz he was shaking so hard. |
