Examples of songs whose remixes were way more popular than the original versions, resulting in some originals being lost forever to the dustbin. in fact many of the originals are totally different from the familiar remixes.
energy 52 - cafe del mar(1993)
art of trance - madagascar(1998)
ayla - ayla(1995)
transa - prophase(1996, original rereleased in 2002)
underworld - born slippy

Maybe not for you. So far, I've only been able to get at a sample of it provided by someone else.
Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400 is another one.
A good symbol of this is where at least one of the remixes is labelled as the original, which happens far too often on pretty much all of these. |

| I know it has nothing to do with this thread, but "Born slippy" has got to be one of the most boring/bland tunes I have ever heard. I don't understand the hype behind it. |
