How to calm down...? (pg. 3)

Thank you very much to all of you my dear people who took the time to help me out by offering suggestions :) I feel a little bit better already, though the issue is still bugging me. I tried the cold shower, and it was ok, when you turn the water completely cold it shocks you and you have to breather hard and deep to be able to take it. Funny how something that is otherwise unbearable when you are feeling normal (cold shower) suddenly becomes different when you're really tensed up and upset.
I will probably try exercize too, I've been wanting to do that a long time, although I don't really know a cheap club that I could go to right now. I feel like exercize has more of a preventative role though, like if you do it regularly then you won't get frustrated and tense so much... I remember, once when I was visiting back home I signed up for an aerobics class (cause you could just sign up and pay for one lesson only, didn't have to have club membership) and I was almost ready to faint after the first fifteen minutes. But then, after the hour was over, even though I felt a little bit sore, it just felt soooo much better! It lifted my mood up. Gotta try that out some more, only if I could figure out where...
As regarding the talk... it's a good idea and I would love to but I don't have any friend that I could talk with about that issue which is seriously bothering me... but maybe if I really sit down and talk to and explain to the person (my friend) who's unwantingly helping to cause me this stress and frustration (though I guess he doesn't do it on purpose) and I hope that if I really explain my feelings and stance and whatnot to him, he'll understand and realize it and not act so foolishly so as to distress me again... he has these mood swings which are causing him to act in a certain specific self-distructive manner when he's distressed (and he says he becomes distressed when we quarrel which unfortunately like almost happened today), and then it distreses me too, cause I start to worry, that's why I felt like I was gonna go out of my mind today, it's just crazy how one person's upset can spill over to your own self eventually...
well... I don't know if I make sense... but again, THANK YOU very much to all of you who took the time to come out and help me :) I don't know what else to say... just Thank You... for being nice and non-judgemental... and of course I'll try to look into the suggestions you all mentioned... |

| Driving works for me too but with prog/house blasting. Other times I just dive into my dvd collection and watch a few back to back. If you're looking for something funny to watch, check THIS out. |

Exactly what i would do! I find that I can be completely honest with everything that is bothering me at the time!
Except if it was an EXTREMELY stressful and emotional day, stashing it away just wouldn't work for me ... I'd light the letter on fire...or rip it up!
Hope you feel better!:) |

2 things that always work for me:
1) Read a good book.
2) Go relax in a hot tub. |
