[email protected] even on this board you can tell that fluff house and cheesy "baby feels so good" vocal house is the way...i think its becasue it almost has a top40/pop sound and the average person walking around richmond could pop in and relate to it yet thinks they are listening to some "sophisticated underground european " < |

HAHA. I was gonna say something along those lines.
I haven't heard vocal house in a whileeeeeeee...maybe a track or two here and there but it hasn't been around! And let's hope it stays that way!

He did say at the Gallery too .... like i've herd deko-ze play some "diva" house tracks once in a while but that's liek the closest thing. |

In other news. CIRCA is a breathe of fresh air in a city where it's night life is virtually controlled by pretty much 1 (a few) person(s).
Gatien is not your regular/standard club owner who's out for a quick buck. He has more to lose (his reputation) which he holds alot higher than making some quick $$ and jet. He was and is known to be a visionary and an innovative club connoisseur. I'll wait to see how things play out, and what will come before I pass judgment on the club itself. Hopefully, he'll be CLUBLAND's knight in shining armour and brings something that both the clubbers and the city will enjoy together. |
