| I'm confused, what is complicated? Style could be whatever you want just as long as it is scanable and someone can read it quickly |

i used the MS word template and filled in the blanks
prolly the cheesiest way of doing it
but it looked decent |

What field are you looking for to work in?
are your confused as to what to say or as to how to format it? |

Don't use a template, if you do it'll be a bitch later when you start messing around with your resume. Which you are going to do since you should tailor your resume to what job you are applying to...Go get one of those resume books and see what you like best. There isn't a "wrong" way to write a resume per se. Just keep it to one page, make it easy for the eye to scan and use action words. You should also list say volunteer or extracurricular activities that have something to do with the position you are applying for. Like I'm into sports and while looking for sports jobs I had an entire Events section in addition to a Work Experience Section where I listed my experience with teams, leagues and other sports related stuff. When I was in college and looking for internships relating to my major I had a Extracurricular section where I listed all my clubs and board positions.
The hardest part is wording things correctly...once you have everything laid out you can play around with how it looks. |

| the best way for your resume to standout is if you know someone in HR. Other than that you are like everyone else...good luck! |

Unfortunately what I've come to realize is knowing people is all that really matters in some industries. I'm sure you'll get an interview and if not they'll actually keep you in mind for stuff. |
