Prices are cheaper there too.. retail is much cheaper (I've heard about 25%) than Canada to begin with. |

I went shopping in Plattsburgh this summer and clothing is much much cheaper!!! But there's no big brands or anything. Its good for some dressed shirts and pants, some cheap polos at 12$ a pop at aeropostal, but thats about it. |

| good point. It's a deal if you already HAVE to go to US or if you can save costs by staying with ppl, traveling in groups, etc. |

yeah but plattsburgh cost like 20-30$ in gaz (you fill up at 75cents when coming back to save more).
You don't go down there to buy 100$ of stuff :) |
