| After reading this entire thread, I like what you guys all had to say about the Behringer Truth B2031A's. These are definiitely within my price range. And these will replace the link Aiwa's I have in my room now:) |

I'm rocking the Alesis Prolinear 820 DSP for my production speakers, they use to my my DJ monitors until I setup a Production "Studio" and moved my DJ booth into another room. My DJ monitors now are a set of Thapco Thump 15" Active Speakers..
Both sets are great, loving how much louder and bassier the Thapco's are for DJing.. :D |

That's the site I price matched from. :toothless
They almost nailed me on the shipping though, bc when you add it up, it gets the price back up to where everyone else is.
I love them. No problems at all! |

That seems to be the consensus. The parties have to be indoors and in a relatively small space (apt, not a large home) because they're near field, so as soon as you get away from them you loose all to of the "oomph." You could always add a sub though. don't even think about using them outside. |

| Dunno about that - I used my set out on my deck for our housewarming this weekend and they sounded great for what we needed. |
