Relation with your parents

Growing up I never really opened up to my dad, and in hindsight I think it may have screwed things a bit now. My ma on the other hand, I can tell her almost anything. I've been trying to change things though, like... he found out I enjoy mixing, so he showed me a box of hundreds of vinyls from 50s to 80s haha.
What's the relation with your parents, n when did you start telling them about things that matter? |

| i'm super close with both my parents. i think during/after freshman year of college i realized no matter what mistakes i made (and i made some big ones) they would never judge me or love me any less. i talk to my mom usually once a day and my dad probably once a week. now that i'm abroad we talk less but the converstations are so much more meaningful. |

| I don't get along with my mom that well because all she does is scream. My dad on the other hand is the best :) I don't tell him every single thing that goes on in my life but we do talk a lot. |

| Extremely well. I'm lucky to have two of the greatest parents ever! Thats half the reason I dont wana even think about moving out, cuz I enjoy their company round the house. |

We get along only if we don't talk at all. I wouldn't say the relationship is great, because I only tolerate them at best. My relationship with them is also punctuated by periods of extreme hatred and violence.

| i've become a lot closer to my parents now that i'm older, especially to my mom...i've come to realize that she's gone through a lot and made a load of sacrifices to give my brother and I a "normal" life, even during the war back home...i've always been really afraid of my dad growing up cuz he was soo damn strict with me...but now he's cool too |
