Zaim, wits do get to me man. They ruin the scene for everyone with the negative publicity they attract. In early days it never used to attract violent behavior in any such form. People were there for the love of the music and not a place to take loads of drugs where music happens to be played! If this sort of bull continues, people who have a genuine passion for the dance industry wont have anywhere to en go or hold their events!
Take Kryal for example. A great place to have a party that is now under review and enormous pressure to shut down as a venue. Did the organisers of that event have the best intentions? I think so! They provided one of the finest line ups I've seen in a long time. Look at how everything turned out. Why? Because raver wit attitudes don't cater for the reasons these events are held in the first place. They take no responsibility to protect it. To them it's just another festival for them to get overly 'ed' at. They go too far, get put in an ambulance and BANG, our scene is pasted all over the en news!
As for the roid boys, same as above. Violent behavior such as punch ons, stabbings and one day (it's inevitable) deaths will stop festivals from occurring.
Summadayze/Muzzadayze/Wankerdayze has lost the shine that it once had imo.

that summadayze was the 8th one i've been to in a row... and partying has changed SOOOO much from 8 years ago from my first one. when sister bliss took main stage!! not some ****** house acts that nova listening kids enjoy so much.
partying will NEVER be what it once used to be, but there isn't much we can do but continue to party and try ignore the as much as possible and go on about our own way |
