People can be from all walks of life dude but the commonality of attending these festivals is music. If that was the case then these events should mean the SAME to all of us. We should protect the scene by acting appropriately. The people who don't get that, the minority, are killing the very idea of music bringing people together.

PLUR, a once common theme / ideal amongst dance festival attendees is well and truly dead!

yeah i couldnt agree anymore with that....thats what i was trying to intend to say, that despite people from all walks of life at these festivals ect. it's all about music and the people showing respect.
hence why i said music + people should = good times.

true, true.. but to those regular event attendee's, having roided up muzztrons so friggin tanked that they burst from their shirts (thats the only explanation i can come up with), coking their way around the place and spin flexing into people on the dancefloors of something like summadayze... i dunno, it just feels unwanted and a stain on the general partying scene.

how would they feel if we all went into their gyms and took control of the benchpress? pretty much the same i'm guessing.

same goes for overdosing nobs... a lot of people do drugs recreationally and yes, it's a stupid thing to do to your body but 90% of those recreational users do it as sensibly as you can hope to... it's that last 10% that make the headlines though and put a massive black mark on an otherwise harmless and fun scene of happy go lucky people who are just there to enjoy a type of music they can't get their fill of elsewhere.

yeah i can see why things like that make a stain on the scene.

yer i just saw the article in the herald sun. security tried to chase the blokes, but they ran into the crowd.
very annoyin they werent busted, but wats even more annoying is the fact the chicks were stupid enuff to get in there in their bikinis in front of 1000 muzz heads - wat on earth were they thinking would happen???

im thinking future should run 2 new years day festivals - muzzadayze sumwhere in deer park, and summadayze somewhere preferably east of the river. oh how sweet tat wud be.

I dunno about that. The guys should realise that holding a girl down and stripping her in public is not cool no matter what the circumstances are.

There isn't anything inherently wrong with some people having some much around fun in a foam pit, so the mental capacity of the chicks shouldn't even be an issue here...

urr i understand and agree - but are u sure boys from western suburbs are capable of that??

i was at summernats years back and watched 2 chicks wrestling in jelly with bikinis on in front of about 1000 drunken yobbos - the worst thing tat happened was a random chick from the crowd joined in.

yeah, but i'm sure these girls weren't exactly asking to be sexually assaulted man.

probably stupid of em to do something like that in such a public setting, especially summadayze, but regardless i think we're all smart enough to know there's absolutely no excuse to do what they did to those girls. it's ing disgusting.
