I haven't heard much of 2007 albums, but from what I have it's probably Animal Collective "Strawberry Jam".
Mice Parade's self-titled album and Matthew Dear's "Asa Breed" also get honorable mentions. |

I don't know why I even posted this. Matthew Dear's "Asa Breed" is without a doubt the clear winner, and I completely forgot to even mention it the first time I posted in this thread. :wtf:

To put how much I like "Asa Breed" into perspective, I was listening to it on a drive home last night and it reminded me of the feeling the first time I had ever heard "DSOTM."
Take that however you want, but I love it. Indie-tronica at its finest. :) |
