can someone please change that picture into a link...thats so gross.
btw, the castrol tws oil for bmw m cars has been proven to provide better lubrication then other synthetic oils.
and synthetic is so much better then regular. stays cleaner longer and so much more slippier. |

| Wow! Awesome specs. Really sucks that a car that accelerates so fast tops out at 225 km/h, though!! You gotta get that limiter removed!! LOL maybe not with the new speeding laws! LOL! |

Thank you. I like the acceleration more than the top speed (i've only takn it to 200 and I stopped). |

I took mine to 260 with the top down and 270 with the top up and then I got scared...I thought my top speed was 250 but I guess not! I never had the limiter removed and I bought my car from the BMW dealership. The 1st owner was an older lady so I doubt she had that after-market work done (full service at the dealership with 28K on the odometer).
333 HP, 263 ft.lbs torque, 0-60: 5.5 (she's a bit heavy). 2004 M3 Convertible. God, I love her.

Nice ride. Do you have the hard top as well? I find that with the AWD my car seems to pull better acceleration numbers (as well as grip and handling) than cars with more horsepower, but I lose out on the true RWD sports car feel like in your M3. My colleague had an M Coupe and "unleashed" it sa well AND CRASHED IT. You really got control the power of those RWD M's. (And to make matters worse he had bought the car from one of the members of the Dave Matthew Band out in BC and had it shipped here to Ontario). |

i've only hit 200kmh so far. sport mode is the best when your at like 4000rpm and you press it, feels like a different car. take dsc off in like rain and just give it a little punch and omg. rwd ftw. next year i might get some csl goodies. trunk and diffuser..maybe.
i heard that if you keep the car in 5th you go past the limiter but if your in 6th you'll hit it. 270 is nuts, i got to try it one day. probably doing the bmw course next summer. |
