my stang eats saleens alive

ive stripped my ride down to almost half the weight of a saleen

theres nothing like the look on the face of a saleen driver as I rip him to shreds in my v6

5sp. I should have gotten the Speed6, it would have cost me less, both in monthly and on insurance. Go figure. I'll keep this stock for a little while longer, then just add on some minor things. The Ford 3.0 Duratec engine doesn't have all that much available in AM parts anyways.

Now THAT is definitely an original approach. What'd you do to it exactly?

Can't go wrong with that... just sell it if you have to fix anything major.

Aye. She gets me where I want to go. The only problem I've had in 13 months is a dead battery.

PENDING YOUR THOUGHTS skillton :tongue2

If I didn't have a winter car, I might one day trade in both for that one... great price too, but I vowed never to buy another american car ever again.

what does your peasant self drive?
My car tops out at 265, revs to 7800rpm, my turbo produces 19psi of boost, and it eats corvettes, porsches, and even some ferrari's on the highway.
It also has a Dash from a 1998 Golf, Alpine MP3/WMA/Ipod conn deck, black leather bucket seats(heated), power windows, and the handles very well. It also has upgraded from brakes, which will slow it down quite easily from speeds above 200km/h.

1) it doesn't matter that the turbo can hit 19psi, so does mine, it's the amount of air it can blow that determines how much HP you gain; ie size of compressor/turbine wheel - what turbo do you have?

2) did you piece together this turbo kit from scratch? if so did you calculate every detail in order to maximize the potential HP -
Things you need to know:
Horsepower Target
Engine displacement
Maximum RPM
Ambient conditions

compressor maps and finding your pressure ratio to make sure you're in an efficiency island and not nearing the surge line?

how many pistons are your calipers? size of rotors? what is your suspension set-up?
7800rpm...my buddies gti revs to 8300rpm, wow, its just cams and upgraded valvetrain...

what are you using to tune? computer flash? or just an EBC/MBC and some fuel pressure regulator?
