The fact is I had no first hand experience of Burial.
This was my first listen at his music (not my first time at dubstep/grime)
and wow !

| Album of the year no doubt, but still doesn't top the first one. I've listened about 10 times by now, and still feel that there's too many vocals throughout. |

I got used to the vocals pretty quickly. I thought there was too many of them only after the first listen.
There's really hard to pick any favourites, but right now I'm loving 'Shell Of Light' and 'Untrue'. |

Initially, I was not impressed.
My Fav song from Burial-Burial was Gutted, very dark gritty and melodic.
This album is less dark.
After a few more listens, it has quickly begun to grow on me.
Near Dark, Ghost Hardware are sure classics.

Endorphin is probablay my favourate on there though, although it was really hard to pick a fav as there was not a single track on there I disliked in any way! |
