| just decided on impulse a few days ago me and the wifey would go to this. from the prices im looking at on expedia the average seems to be 1100 for flight and hotel. any of you guys that have been to amsterdam years prior have any tips or good hotels that arent so expensivE? |

some artists (hybrid for example) will now and then bust out with all the instruments rather than just turntables and a mixer. |

I hope so, too. Listening to some of the sets that Jordy shared, I really really really miss hearing good TRANCE these days.
I sometimes wonder when people on the TRANCEaddict forums got so snooty and started bashing trance just to talk up other genres of EDM... |

Exactamundo. Rank 1 uses electronic piano keyboards. Benno does the playing on a Roland JP8000 that while Piet works on another instrument. The liveshows are SICK. Like I said before, they're VERY hard and take a lot of work to do so they don't do them often, and when they do they're very short compared to your average DJ set. Their live show at TE 05 was only 20 minutes long but it's what made me the Rank 1 whore that I am today, and they know this. :)
