i was comming with high hopes to see prydz play a good set....basing it on the other sets ive heard from him before hand....and im really REALLLLY disapointed....i must have seen a total of at least three fist pumps from him that night....and the most movement ive seen him to was his head bobbing....
the friends made the night tonight....Josh, you had the best get-up lol
.....anyways 4/10 for me.....did he even play tigerstyle? i left at around 4 15 |

does anyone else think the bass was WAY too much in guvernment?.. they really gotta fix that up, it was giving me a headache.. prydz was pretty good, that dude before him was pure cheese, not my thing lol..

but i heard the sound tech got offered a better job at circa and their using a co-op student to adjust the sound now until they find someone to replace.. But its just a rumor!!!!!!!!

^^^ That is exactly why this non-beer drinking American basically gave up drinking when I moved to Canada. |

| Welll.. now that im sober.. haha .. im glad i got to meet a bunch of you, as if i can remember names, only fake TA ones haha. we never went on our lesbian outreach program jeff :p well i did.. but you were MIA haha.. anywayss.. between running around from the patio with my smoking buddies ;) to the main room and to the VIP (which wasnt very VIP at all.. yuck) i had a great time. Prydz trainwreck was intense though and i agree.. he was a very boring DJ but it was still a great night. BUT! Tonight is going to be 800 times better, and ill be drinking a lot less. its one of those "im never drinking again" kinda afternoons ;) |

first off nice meeting soo many TAs last night!!!...surprisingly most said "oh ur the one that didnt get into CiRCA" LOL but its all good (CiRCA contacted me and im comp'd for tonight so sweeeeeeeeet + thnx + afterwards ill be headin to guv! big night tonight :D)
as for last night, i had a blaassst! Got there early and heard a bit of MO spinning, wished him a happy b day afterwards, then Dana Bernquist came on. I actually got into the groove with this guy and thought he dropped some sick tunes close to the end of his set....but he shoulda stopped while he was ahead and put eric on ASAP! felt like he was trailing off for a while...Ugh also the Gallery was late opening last night...big crowd of people waiting there at 12 and i dont think it opened until 1215 or so....but when it finally opened i only stayed for a bit..didnt want to fall into the gallery trap!
Dance floor was not packed at all which was awesome and when standing on the stage i could count on seeing 2-3 big open spaces so that was cool....speaking of which the temperature was NOT...damn rain at the start of the night kept people inside. The cold white smoke was used in pre-prydz and at the start of prydz....didnt have any bursts near the end. However they did do one BBBBIIIIGGGG white out where standing on the stage behind the dj booth u couldnt see ur own hand for about 5-10 seconds!!! i bet prydz was in a fuss over that one :S eeek tech guy! (but i looovedd it :D) and i think that was the last of them for the night....hoped no one lost their job (it was THAT much!!!)
TUNES were niiiiice and what really got the place going was Proper Education and a fcukin sick TIMBERLAND-WAY I ARE remix!!!! HOLY FCUK DID NOT SEE THAT ONE COMING!!! blended in very smooth and stealth and the place went NUTS when that came on (...i think alot of z103ers were there so yea only imagine..) Oh also the sample or background music to HEIDI MONTAG's single was played..hahaha that was pretty jokes to hear...oh and heard Daft punk deadmau5 remix at the start of the night ..first time for in the main room and later prydz played Deadmau5 - Jaded!! <3 this track and was the only one of the night i IDed on my own!!! :D [also met deadmau5 last night too, wasssup!)
Overall, little crowd, guvs AWESOME BASS (the bigger. the better. WHAT! SIZE DOES MATTER!) tonnes of TA interaction, good group of friends and on top of that recieved two free redbulls!!! :D haha THANKS a tonne :)
*was one of the 20 or so people calling for prydz once it was over...and one of the many who was disapointed in his behavior!! It reminded me of that news article which announced his trip overseas and is quoated saying "but now the demand is so big that I can’t say no anymore"...shows he wasnt really here for the demand so much the MUNAH!! $$cha ching$$ |
