Eh, I think I'd rather get a Lemur and some tunes.

Yeah, so could I. Hopefully this won't be the case.

I think it looks pretty damn solid. I've yet to see any other MIDI controller truly designed with the DJ in mind.

I dont think you can find a comparable specifically DJ oriented Ableton Live controller out there...it perfectly marries the interface of a high quality 6 channel mixer with an ableton control device that is actually practical and usefull. Some people may prefer other systems and/or touch screens, but for me this represents the best controller to fill in the ableton interface gap when DJing...

I doubt I would ever use it anywhere but at home, but I think I would have a ridiculously good time making mixes on it...

You can pretend to be Sasha with it.

Nothing really, but it combines everything you need into 1 solid platform.

Most common MIDI keyboards have enough faders, enough buttons and enough knobs for what you'd need to DJ with. The built-in soundcard is the only thing that is being combined here.

whos going to be manufacturing it?

Like I said though, I havn't seen anything that is so well laid out, that solves the interface problem of being both mixer-like and controller like. Coming from doing alot of DJing with ableton, I've looked far and wide for something like this and havn't seen it yet. The closest we got was the Xone 3D or hawtin's CTRL, but neither offer such straight forward and effective simplicity.

If I get this, how far along will I progress on my Sasha-success/cocaine-o-meter?
