JUST ADDED - LASER in the MAIN ROOM..
I can't wait to hear BT Rock the soundsystem... It's so clear and crisp in the Main Room. I thought it was a Funktion 1 system, but I guess it's Martin Audio. Don't know much about Martin but is sounds excellent.
I think this event will be the best one since they have opened so far. We also have a Stellar House lineup in the basement.
ST John invited BT to record a special 1 hour mix set on HOUSENATION, if time permits we will totally do it.
If anyone wants to have a late dinner, I've been told the food at their Restaurant, PRANA, is excellent. The restaurant is basically the main room. At 10pm people are forced to go downstairs to the Catacombs for House Music or to the Destiny Lounge for Hip Hop / Mash Ups. The Main Room stops serving at 10pm and allows for the people to finish their drinks and food. The DJ will begin playing around 10:30pm as people start to finish eating. By 11pm the Main room will be Bangin to the beatz of ANDREW MD.

Great SH*t last night Drew!
My first time at Temple and I'm impressed. Got welcomed by a very well dressed and respectful doorman. Definately gave a good first impression for the club. Walked in to this ALL WHITE (painted) main room and the first thing I noticed was the sound system. Hmmmmm ... little off. There was too much echo and in the back portion of the room it there was a lack of bass. The white paint wasn't utilized well last night with their lights. They could have done a better job throwing different colors out the walls but for some reason they didn't do it. I dunno if it's because they didn't wanna bother the lazer show last night. I like that there was ample seating area to take a break and the bartenders were also chill.
Went downstairs to check out the other rooms and fell inlove with the dark room with the statue in the middle. I like the layout and the dark lighting except the DJ booth which looked like a train ticket booth. It was in a box room with a half height flexy glass in front. The DJ looked like he as in a penalty box. LoL. The room next door was all white as well which is suited for the Hip Hop they were playing. Nice small room for Hip Hop. Yah keep 'em there. :tongue2
Went back upstairs and checked out the VIP sky boxes. The sound system up there bothered me again. The columns in the main were also not cool. There were several spots where you can't see DJ. I'm a big fan of DJ booths not being to high off the main dance floor but for Temple's main room, I think a higher DJ booth is better suited. Half way down the room, I can barely see Andrew playing and I'm about 6' tall. I had to be within 15 feet of the DJ booth when BT was playing for me to see him.
Overall, it's a great venue that needs a little tweekin. It has multiple rooms for different music, respectful security, chill bar tenders, bathrooms with multiple stalls and $3 bottled water :toothless
Now the music.... Andrew threw a banging set just enough to get the crowd going early. For some of you folks maybe it was a bit too bangin but I like it that way myself.People were dancing a having a great time. That's why they came there and Drew gave it to them. He gave everyone enough time anyway to cool down about half an hour before BT came on.
BT was impressive. Live sets are always fun to watch. Did the guy leave his Cans home. Didn't see him put it on once. He was just cueing from the computer. Well interacted with the crowd and threw vocal tracks timely to keep the casual clubers interested. It was a good crowd last night. Good mix of people. Saw a lot of regular SF clubbers and even ran into some TA's like Alain (were did you go), Frankie and ofcourse the AddictedSF crew.
My big brother TP (Thomas Phan) ended the night perfectly for me. I'm not a big fan of epic trance after a headliner but Tom you got everyone in the groove after your 3rd track and people loved it! People were feeling it last night including myself. I knew several people ready to head out to End Up but got sucked into your set. Great Sh*t Bro!
Props to AddictedSF for bringing BT to SF and throwing another awesome party. :whip: :whip:
