I'm not feeling down or anything. It just makes me scratch my head. I'm 20, and in college, there really isn't much that I shouldn't be proud of at the moment, lol. |

Yeah, but is that because of your own personal standards, or because you're comparing your life to someone else's? 'Cause if it's the latter, that's no way to live. If it's the former, however, then yeah, totally understandable. |

I feel old sometimes.. 11/11/83 means I turn 24 next month. Fack! :whip: Well, at least I'll be spending it at I <3 Techno this year :D . Only a few more years before I have to start going to weddings every other month as friends start getting married off. The years seem to really fly by as you get older. Or maybe it's just me lol.
I imagine a big part of 'feeling' old is connected to how much you've accomplished, no? The more you've accomplished in life, the less down you feel about being older I think. And by 'accomplished' I mean personal goals...
What kills me is realizing how long it takes to accomplish certain things. Guess I'd better get crackin' lol! |

funny story.
this chick was trying to take me home last week and she admitted to being 34, at the same time pestering me about my age.
finally I admit that I'm almost 24 (lol yeah I pulled that "I'm almost" like you do in grade school) and she goes.
"omg! you're a decade younger than I am."
to which I responded "Yeah baby, but I'll make you feel like you're 13 again!"
I have no idea what it means or how it relates to this thread but it was damn funny. |
