A lot of contemporary trance might have come from house-techno roots, most of the electronic music I prefer came from EBM-Industrial backgrounds. Aside from Psy, I really don't listen to contemporary trance very much any more it seems. |

| Isn't James Brown! The Beatles! sort of a knee jerk reaction? All of James Brown's songs sound the same, and The Beatles suck. If you really really listen to them long enough. Compare them to today's (good) music, and you can tell right off. I'd even say The Beach Boys have a better repertoire than both the Beatles and James Brown. |

isn't sony working on some experimental "ion-beam" (laser?) technology that, when beamed into your head, will affect your sensories and sound filters, etc. I'm sure artists will figure out a way to with this. |
