I'm a bit of a freak about Joy Division, but I really think they have influenced just about every good band that's out these days. Who do you think has influenced your favorite music.
And don't say New Order! |

Probably Throbbing Gristle, Kraftwerk, Front 242 and Brian Eno as far as my electronic music preference go.
Bauhaus as far as alternative rock tastes run. |

this kind of relates to the "feeling old" thread but i am appalled whenever i meet youngsters (18 and under) in the scene (djing or otherwise) and they ask who my influences are as far as introduction to the electronic genre/etc. and when i say pink floyd they give me blank stares like "seriously?".
THAT makes me feel old. |
