:wtf:
anyone see the minnesotta illinois game ending just now?
possibly some of the worst reffing i've seen in a while
basicaly, minn. dude throws up a shot with about 13 seconds left (minn trails by 4), illinois dude who gets the rebound gets hit in the eye on the way down, and falls down with the ball. ref whistles the play dead. DOES NOT call a foul. so basically, if the play is dead its either a foul and illinois is shooting 2, or its minesotta ball for a travel. either way, they checked and there should be 8 seconds left. turns out someone ed up the clock so they marked it at 4.8 seconds (:wtf: #1), and gave the ball to illinois. what the ! there was no actual call. just that the dude got hit so they stopped the clock, reset, allowed the guy to sub, and gave them the ball back. if that isn't bull, i don't know what is.
i don't even care who won, i just ing hate it when refs suck balls |

| As a USC fan, I'm hoping for an elite eight appearance, but it's a catch-22 really. If the Trojans make a decent run here, Mayo probably leaves for the NBA. IF they don't, he probably stays another year...and will join another great recruiting class next year. Decisions, decisions. |

| Stanford vs. Cornell is probably the academically strongest ever combined matchup in NCAA tournament history (for the men), at least amongst the overall student bodies, if not the players involved. |

oh and wtf. was anyone else watching the georgia xavier game? don't get me wrong, i was rooting for xavier, but that seemed like one of the most biased ref jobs i've seen in a LONG time. |

best announcer quote so far:
[after some dude just jumped out of bounds and at the last second *cough bull he was already touching down* threw it back in]:
Boy, does that guy have nuts, huh.
