Deep house on the rise?

Hey!

After browsing trough new releases week by week in different genres i somewhat find the deep house genre most listenable both production wise and musically.

All other genres like trance, prog, house have the boring electro sounds etc.

Anyone agree?

Deep house seems to have its rise atm.

Especially stuff from timewriter, terry lee brown from plastic city, OM, Freerange, Urbantorque etc.

The sound of plastic city will hopefully always remain, and be true to its fans forever.

... and electro house sucks

I wish there were more tracks like The Rhythm Slaves - The Light You Will See (Trentemoller Dub), one of Anders' most overlooked works. Sort of a crossbreed of deep house and tech house.

I think deep house is cool but not a whole set of it. I think it's cool for warm up sets or early on in a set. Actually Alucard (Peter McCowan) does that, he uses Deep House early on..then goes on to progressive house, breaks and trance. But I think it does sound cool with either progressive house or minimal mixed in...

The Timewriter is great. Check out Steve Ferrand - The Music aswell.
