All I can say is WOW. Armin played an damn good set. When he played Solar Stone - Solar coaster everyone went

Ended with This World is Watching me while the whole club chanting AR-MIN, AR-MIN, AR-MIN. Epic.. Reminded all of us why hes the number 1 DJ in the world.

Damn.. that was the best night out I've had in a while. After his last appearance at Ruby Skye I wasn't so sure about him being #1, but tonight left no doubt. It was at least as good as when I saw him at WMC, maybe better cause he played longer. I went nuts when he dropped Sound of Goodbye and World Is Watching Me. The sound was also FAR better this time, not overpowered and muddled by too much bass, it was very clear. Cool decorations at Ruby too. I just wish they would get a frickin' laser. :P But yeah, good time.

I want to say that seeing marcus/armin last night was one of the best experiences in my life...
theory
ok i've seen armin probably 10+ times now and that last night was the most bangin set i've ever heard out of him. purely beat-driven programming with no lulls or obnoxious breakdowns. those dark, proggy trance bombs he kept mixing in were so sick and the sound and thematics were top notch at both venues. the sunday spundae crowd was amazing too. i saw gabriel & dresden and kyau & albert partying backstage, but no sign of markus? markus' set at slide was rippin hard! what a phenomenal capstone to the weekend, someone please tell me it was recorded! that was definitely one for the books  one thing's for sure, the music was way sicker than when i heard them both spin at armada @ amnesia.... 4 hours sets ftw! :disbelief

And Markus was out of control!

UNINGBELIEVABLE NIGHT, WILL GO DOWN AS ONE OF ARMIN'S MOST EPIC NIGHTS

Note to self:

The monday after a party, never put croissant in microwave for 3 minutes by accident when you intend to put it in there for 30...
OMG I nearly burned down my office!

Last night was great.

It was good to see Armin back in SF, and I agree a better performance overall from his past events. The highlight track for me was the remix of Above & Beyonds Home, and Solorstones - Solarcoaster.

He definitely looked in good spirits last night, and had a smile on 24/7 for his set. Its been a while since I seen this Armin on the horizon, at least here in SF that is. It was good to congratulate him in person on his #1 spot.

Bummed I missed Markus, Ill have to catch him again on the next go round. I too was suprised to not see him over at Ruby.

Chatted for a bit with Steve & Ralph (K&A) and Josh & Dave (G&D) along side James Williams and other locals. Dirtyhertz was there also who I caught leaving. Good to again meet David Lewis and chill with him for a bit, considering we both share the same name he still gets a kick out of it.

I stayed in the front of the crowd as I arrived early on to catch most of Syd Gris opening. Around 3ish I got tired of people pushing and witnessed another attendee smack a very attractive girl upside the head with a plastic baton he was carrying. I thought it was kinda rude and funny at the same time because he sure hit her pretty frickin hard.

Good to see all the TA's in the house again. We forgot to take another group pic, maybe the next time around. :D My girl Lynn was in attendance for the first time at a Armin event. She had a great time too and says hello to everyone as well.

When I get home Ill upload some of the pics I took of the crowd from the stage, after I clean some of em up.:D

Get well soon DaveT

Screw you all!

Stuck in Seoul!??! Stuck in Sao Paulo!!!

Just found out Armin is here Jan. 10th-ish, and looks like Markus will be in the neighborhoos end of November....praying!

Anyways, sounds like, once again, LA got the shaft, and SF got the goods!

And yes I have been at work since 8:30am in Sacramento :eyes:
