2NITE 10/28 in SF! Armin van Buuren + Markus Schulz : 2 Parties/1 Event : 10 HOURS!!! (pg. 3)

Holy , last night was SOOO worth it. We got to Slide at around 8:30 and it was dead as , maybe 10 people total just standing around. I felt bad for Markus, but the music was amazing and thankfully it didn't stay that way for too long. Slide filled up slowly and people started dancing and he definitely had the crowd going nuts for the 2nd half of his set! One of my favorite sets overall from Markus.
I had never been to Slide before, but it's a nice little cozy, intimate setting - I thought it was a great way to start the night before moving the party into Ruby Skye. By the way, one of the female bartenders makes some of the strongest drinks I've ever had, which was both a blessing and a curse - we ended up leaving only 2 hours into Armin's set, but what we were there for was banging - he definitely started off strong.
Had to go get an omelet at the diner down the street to buy time to sober up too, and damn did that taste good. :haha: I'm glad so many people had a great time, I know we did. |

Just a moment past 7am here =)
but I'd say we're even since you have that long commute and I'm pretty much 5 min away from where I live
but absolutely no complaints here =)

he seemed pretty suprised with all the costumes around, so hopefully everyone dresses up and shows him how San Fran supports EDM! |

I am alive and doing better.
can't believe what happened happened! missed most of armin's set damnit.
only thing I can think of is a bunch of people were trying to bombard the booth at slide to get pics with armin when things were finoshing up and a couple of the peeps were dudes who were totally messed up and with I remember having to tell them no like five times. my drink was def within reaching distance to them and bet one of them decided to have fun with me.
just know I was completely fine at ruby talking to dresden and prob 5-10 minutes later I was asking to be helped outside to get fresh air and it only got worse from there. worst feeling I have ever had and never, ever want to feel again. things still don't feel completely right when I move around but as long as I stay still i'm good. :p
big thanks to gilbert for keeping an eye on me while michelle was off to get the car. thanks to the ruby staff for being professional about it all. and sorry to anyone that I might have embarrassed hehe. funny thing is that I remember pretty much ecerything that happened...including opening my eyes and blurr being 2 inches from my face just staring at me. thought I was tripping for a second heh.
