can't believe what happened happened! missed most of armin's set damnit.
only thing I can think of is a bunch of people were trying to bombard the booth at slide to get pics with armin when things were finoshing up and a couple of the peeps were dudes who were totally messed up and with I remember having to tell them no like five times. my drink was def within reaching distance to them and bet one of them decided to have fun with me.
just know I was completely fine at ruby talking to dresden and prob 5-10 minutes later I was asking to be helped outside to get fresh air and it only got worse from there. worst feeling I have ever had and never, ever want to feel again. things still don't feel completely right when I move around but as long as I stay still i'm good. :p
big thanks to gilbert for keeping an eye on me while michelle was off to get the car. thanks to the ruby staff for being professional about it all. and sorry to anyone that I might have embarrassed hehe. funny thing is that I remember pretty much ecerything that happened...including opening my eyes and blurr being 2 inches from my face just staring at me. thought I was tripping for a second heh.

btw anyone find an old black color-faded nike jacket? thin one...netted back?
left my jacket somewhere lol. nothing was in it other than a pen I don't think so no huge loss. need a new thin jacket anyway. |

I know I have never met any of you guys - but how freaking unusual - the last time Markus came to town back in July - the same thing happened to me. My friend was able to get me up on stage at Ruby Skye - and was handed a seemingly harmless water bottle. My buddy told me it was pure vodka - but knowing how drunk i was - I wouldn't have drank a whole bottle of vodka without throwing half of it up. That was all I remember of that night. I apparently was kicked off stage and my legs gave out right when my buddy came over. Apparently I had to be carried out cause I simply couldn't walk. There are pictures and videos that my friends took when I was out on the sidewalk - and I look like I'm in heaven. I can only imagine what made it into that bottle.
Hope you are feeling better though dude - it took me almost 2 days to really begin to feel 'normal'. Mostly because the first day was spent trying to piece together my memory - the last thing I actually remember, was getting out of the limo at ruby skye. The rest of the night is a complete blur. Ugh.
I hope everyone had a good time too. I'm gutted cause I bought my ticket ahead of time, but partied so hard Sat. night, I couldn't make it out. Apparently I dj'd until about 6 am - and then past out on the garage floor right in front of my gear. Ugh. I was so sore yesterday I couldn't imagine dancing all night long. Pictures please to those who have them. I really wanted to see Markus at slide. It probably was a banging night in such a small venue. |
