probably the Next Level.
wish they had windows behind the dj booth though (which i think they used to) |
Yeah, that booth is insane to play.... and I agree - when the windows were in there with that insane view of the waterfront/skyline nothing in the city beat it. Unfortunately, the fire at The Docks (now Sound Academy) blew out the glass behind it. I'm pretty sure they plan on putting it back for next summer.
I also think Mod Club should be worthy of mentioning, though it's more of a stage than a booth.
Though it's not around anymore, nothing came even close to the booth at Sonic.... I don't think you could ask for a better set up than that one. |

+1 to this.
Sonic and Stereo (in that order) have two of the best looking booths I've ever seen. |

You forgot to add other - specify.
I love the setup at Mod Club, and especially with lights, it looks amazing. All Djs look really hot up there, cause you also get to see them full hight instead of only the upper body :D |

| New Guv booth. Too bad the sound system doesn't do it any justice :(. |

| Footwork has the perfect booth....Mike D designed and built the whole thing. Everything is exactly where you want it to be, with plenty of space/lighting for record bags or CD binders, the gear is at a good height and the sound is nice. |

Im sure oliver played it that night too, making for about what, 4 times.
New guv booth would be great BUT those two speaker pillars from hell that force you either in front or behind - in front no tunes, behind "rammed" into an area in which you can hear.
If they could fix that it would be great.
Twilo in Miami was pretty sweet,(lawler 2007) it went the length of the club width wise, which meant even the people in the back got a great view and were pretty close to the action. |
