Ah...wasn't that the first Decadence (2004)?
Deko-ze played Intergalactic in the KH early on, then Seaman played it, then Sander played it at Boa. Good freakin ... |
yea im pretty sure that was the first Decadence and i believe the beastie boys track ur thinkin bout is "fight for your right (to party)" but i forget the remix. Seaman and Junkie played it in the same night in the same room, lol. big track though.
as for DJ booth's im with skipper on Footwork. but my fav. will always be System Soundbar's booth. i always loved going behind the booth and watchin the dj go to work. and on the packed nights watching the crowd from back there was always fun. |

Aria in Montreal had those big mirrors above and behind the booth so you could see inside from the floor. You could also walk up behind and peek through the glass.

ditto. i really like the intimate feel of the gallery and the dj booth especially. the drink and CZ are not too far behind. but the new dj booth in the guv main room comes dead last. |
+1
choosing a favourite is hard, but that hydraulic monstrosity is without question my least. |

Yes, that was Fight for your right to party...
I have never seen Junkie XL at such great touch...he ripped the Koolhaus apart and ended up finishing at 430 instead of 4am. He almost overshadowed Armin that night but Armin finished that night in style....lots of good classics like Seven Cities, For an angel, his stuff.... |

Footwork is my favorite to play in.
Gallery is also great since it's right there on the floor. though the layout could be a little better. they shouldget rid of the turntables since no one uses them, put the cdjs flat on the table and raise everything 6-8 inches. |

Gallery.
The madness that ensued during Carola's set sealed the deal. |

I love the setup at Mod Club, and especially with lights, it looks amazing. All Djs look really hot up there, cause you also get to see them full hight instead of only the upper body :D |

I didn't include KoolHaus because that is not really a DJ booth, but a stage that can be converted into an area that accommodates DJs. I made my booth list based on permanent fixtures to a room. |

| I've only been to a very small number of clubs but all the same I love the Gallery setup: being so close to the DJ and being able to interact with him/her and watch him/her spin throughout the night is a huge plus for me  I miss the Gallery and can't wait to return in a few weeks  |
