Well done Zoran!
On the lighter side.... by bro sent me this from another province....
Two guys from Toronto die and wake up in hell. The devil stops in to check on them and sees them dressed in parkas, mittens and toques warming themselves around the fire.
The devil asks them, "What are you doing? Isn't it hot enough for you?"
The two guys reply, "Well, you know, we're from Canada, the land of snow and ice and cold. We're just happy for a chance to warm
up a little bit, eh."
The devil decides that these two aren't miserable enough and turns up the heat. The next morning he stops in again and there they are, still dressed in parkas, toques and mittens. The devil asks them again, "It's awfully hot down here, can't you guys feel it?"
Again the two guys reply, "Well, like we told ya yesterday, we're from Canada , the land of snow and ice and cold. We're just happy
for a chance to warm up a little bit, eh."
This gets the devil a little steamed and he decides to fix these two guys. He cranks the heat up as high as it will go. People are wailing and screaming everywhere. He stops by the room with the two guys from Canada and finds them in light jackets and bucket hats, grilling sausages and drinking beer. The devil is astonished, "Everyone down here is in absolute misery, yet you two seem to be enjoying yourselves."
The two Canadians reply, "Well, ya know, we don't get too much warm weather up there in Toronto so we've just got to have a cook-out when the weather's THIS nice."
The devil is absolutely furious, he can hardly see straight. Finally he comes up with the answer. The two guys love the heat because they have been cold all their lives. The devil decides to turn all the heat off in hell.
The next morning, the temperature is below zero, icicles are hanging everywhere; people are shivering so bad that they are unable to do anything but wail, moan and gnash their teeth. The devil smiles and heads for the room with the two Canadians. He gets there and finds them back in their parkas, toques, and mittens. Except now they are jumping up and down, cheering, yelling and screaming like mad men!!!
The devil is dumbfounded, "I don't understand, when I turn up the heat you're happy. Now it's freezing cold and you're still happy. What is wrong with you two???"
The Torontonians look at the devil in surprise, "Well, don't you know? If Hell's frozen over, it must mean the Leafs have won the Stanley Cup." |
hahah nice. |

Warnings
Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale

Snowsquall warning for
Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale continued
..Snowsqualls producing whiteouts and dangerous driving conditions for the next 24 hours..
This is a warning that snowsqualls are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.
Strong northwesterly winds and cold Arctic air are continuing to produce intense snow squalls and whiteout conditions. Two main areas of snowsqualls continue to the Lee of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay this morning.
Georgian Bay..Snow squalls are coming inland from Meaford to Wasaga Beach to Midland and extending inland all the way to the northern parts of York region. The most intense snow squall extends from near Collingwood southeast to Allison and just west of King City. This snowsquall will drift ever so slowly eastward by about 20 or 30 km today and may move back into the Barrie..Innisfil area later this afternoon. This squall will remain quite intense through tonight and into Wednesday morning although its inland penetration will slowly lessen as wind speeds decrease.
Lake Huron..Several narrow multibanded snow squalls are affecting the snowbelts southeast of Lake Huron. Radar is currently detecting two primary squalls..One coming inland near The Pinery park to just west of London to Port Stanley. The second squall is about 20 km to the northeast of this first squall. These squalls will remain nearly stationary today or drift slowly eastward. The squalls will mainly affect the communities of London..Strathroy and St Thomas.
General snowfall amounts in the snow squalls should range from 5 to 15 centimetres with local snowfall amounts of 30 centimetres today with similar amounts tonight although likely in slightly differing locations as the squalls slowly meander. In addition gusty winds to 60 km/h today will produce local blowing snow at times in exposed areas.
Snow squall total accumulations received as of 10 AM this morning:
Location snowfall total (cm)
Downsview 8 Vaughan 20 Barrie 20-25 holly (near Barrie) 35 Shanty Bay (E of Barrie) 16 balaclava (Owen Sound area) 12 London airport 20 (estimated) dorchester 21 Tillsonburg 12 Beeton 40

So I'm walking across the parking lot towards Mac's main library today... carrying my 375 pounds of books, laptop, and other shinanigans...
I lean forward EVER SO SLIGHTLY to fix the top of my left boot - my hipopotamous of a bag catapults me forward and I begin to slip forward on some VERY MEAN ICE
I try to catch my balance but end up leaning too far backwards, do the splits and fall flat on my ass.
I WAS ALONE TOO. No friends to laugh about it with :sadgreen:
I kinda just sat there for a few seconds and laughed (on the inside)
LOL
ice sucks |
