winter tires rock... lol - we drove some stranded ppl home, what an entertaining car ride!

I lost count of how many BMWs were stuck in the middle of the road with their hazards on... the avenue road hill was their nemesis (though yonge wasn't much better...)

Took my friend and I a solid two hours to get home from Guv to Mississauga which usually would take 30 min, we were behind snow plows on the QEW for a good hour and a half or so, and stopped to help a stuck car.

Moral of the story: Bring an extra pair of dry socks :(

something I saw on TV last week, someone said that Canadians are such whiners when it comes to weather - cold, hot, anything

lol

How many winters have you been in Canada again? From the sounds of it, you have yet to experience a real serious business Canadian winter.

one of the real serious business canadian winters was in 1998, i'll never forget that one. There was so much snow that all bus services were cancelled, people had to walk to work.

I just took my dog for a walk and I should've worn ice skates. HOLY CRAP.
It's also POURING right now. Whoever has a car parked outside tonight, better wake up an extra hour and ahalf to two hours early to thaw your car.
