everyone's different. but what you said before kind of makes it sound like you think if people go to the movies together, its sad/weird/pathetic. |
No, I just felt like that was the general consensus here. I was just arguing against it. But in reality, that was not the general consensus. So I backed off. |

| Going to the movies is about STATUS. You HAVE to roll the the biggest crew of bitches and hos or else the little 17 year old girl with her little crew will be laughing at you! |

fair enough.
i just kind of see it as disappointing...that if you CAN go with someone...why go alone?
i guess i've just always been more of a social person than wanting to do things by myself. |

i used to go to movies by myself all the time. when i had my studio downtown, i was about a mile down the street from my favorite movie theater, so on Saturday or Sunday afternoons when i had nothing to do i'd walk down there and see a movie by myself.
as for movies being social events, i think that's kind of bull. you sit in the dark and pay attention to a screen in front of you. sure, it's nice to have someone to go with and talk about the movie afterwards, but if i want to be social i'll go out for food or drinks at a restaurant/bar/club/whorehouse.
but generally i hate going to movies. movie-goers are always so ing obnoxious and it's hard for me to enjoy myself. :( |

| Never sit near a lot of black people (OMG GENERALIZATION BLABLABLA, Myra bare with me) All they do is yell at the screen the entire movie especially Horrors. Every time I go to the movies I see at least 5-6 people get kicked out. STFU, lock your eyes on the screen and stay put. |

my Friday or Saturday night routine when i was in 9th/10th grade was Applebees -> Walmart -> movie theater -> Barnes & Noble. they were all in the same shopping center so my friends and i used to have one of our parents drop us off and we'd just walk between them until 11pm when B&N closed.
jesus christ, Frenchie. grow the up. |
