I'm a firm believer that childhood experience leave the most last impressions on a person's character and personality even in adulthood.
Some people do adapt better in adulthood than in childhood, but life is already cruel and harsh. I don't think a child deserves a hard childhood being constantly teased by other kids, not to mention a kid may not fully understand why she/he/it (ok, I really gotta stop writing it like that :p) is different than others and be more emotionally burdened.
If a kid grows up and wants to have a sex change in adulthood, at least s/he can reason and maybe know a bit more about his/her sexuality. |

childhood is hard for a lot of ppl...so what..that's life...i don't believe that childhood experience leave THE MOST last impressions on a person's character...if anything those childhood hardships make u stronger...like i said before...this issue we're talking about affects their ENTIRE life...you have to think ahead..you're too stuck on the childhood part |

i'd probably agree with this on most accounts.. besides being a guy how cool is it when you find girls who can just be one of the guys?
I think it would also depend on things like the state of said parts... I mean if one or the other is more correct it would be smarter to keep that one around. Also maybe if you could run hormone tests etc. to find out if they are MORE a girl than a guy or vice versa, you don't want your son growing boobs at 14. Also if said child had ovaries and a uterus AND a penis... seems like it would make more sense to get rid of the penis |

Same can be said about being made into a guy though. If the 'guy' has a higher voice and somewhat feminine features, it would be very easy for him to simply be considered one of the more feminine looking gay guys. And that's not exactly rare to see these days. hahah.
Also, a guy with feminine features can simply end up as a very good looking man, although it may not be good looking in the rugged sense. A lot of male models today seem to be exhibiting feminine characteristics, and that's what makes them very intriquing in the pictures; pretty eyes, smooth skin, less hair, etc (although this is all media brainwashing of what beauty is, but that's a whole other topic).
It goes both ways. |
