So it's been ages since I gave this a listen, but doing so now, it sounds really good. The album has a nice theme to it and along with some good co-producers, really gave a solid effort here.

Great album indeed. The follow-ups haven't been anywhere close as good.
And the copy i have (http://www.discogs.com/release/37690), has the original version of Magik Journey replaced with an alternative 11-minute version and a bonus disc. |

I have the UK version, which is slightly different again from both of those versions.
I was actually listening to it a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to get something out of my head, and it is a surprisingly good album. You'd never in a million years think Battleship Grey was a Tiesto track. It's hardly a perfect album but it's probably as strong as Tiesto will ever be. The remixes are pretty good too- there's the sublime Way Out West remix of Suburban Train and the vocal version of 643, which I always preferred to the original. And yes, I know you don't agree about that. |

Heh, i didn't say i hated Transa remix did i? It should have been on the bonus disc too, as to my knowledge it has never been officially released on CD yet just like Starecase remix before that ended on the bonus disc. :p |

Tiesto at his best for sure. But then again he had great help from his co-producers and Dallas 4PM borrows heavily from Slide - Closure which is one of the best progtrancers made. But still really good album.
too bad he really went downhills after that.
out of the remixes I like these the best
643 (Orkidea's Wintergalactic remix) <- a shame this wasn't on the bonus CD.
In My Memory (Fade's Sanctuary remix) <- in nice and deep prog remix in the same vain as Fade's remix of Silence. |

Yeah. it's definitely good for tijs. Apart from the odd track, like Allure - the loves we lost, it represents some of his stronger stuff and it's great because of that. Personally though, I prefered the original bootleg of Kosheen with flight 643, if i want a vocal over that tune, i'll throw it on :p |

Indeed. L.S.G. Hearts is worth a mention in the credits too :)
So good to see a non-tiesto bashing topic. This album rocked. Still does today if compared to his recent stuff. |

| EXCELLENT album indeed. love "obsession" the best, probably... i really liked the magik muzik remix of "close to you" (cheesy female vocal trance, i know, but i still like it). overall a great album and if there are people looking for a good all-around trance album with some proper production this isn't a bad find. |

'Close to You' is one of my favorite songs to date. Sends a chill down my spine every time I hear those vocals. :)
'Dallas 4 PM' is also a very chill track. I didn't really like Obsession. Dunno what's the big deal with that track. The sounds never clicked for me. |
