No, not really.
I just find the idea of people partying on a Saturday night and simultaneously being moved by a PVD-in-Africa slideshow particularly funny.

With all due respect Sarah, I think most of your comments are well spoken and insightful.

But Bono does stuff like this at gigs do you think that's lame? Or would you think it's lame if Richie Hawtin or Adam Beyer had pictures of charity work they've done overseas at gigs?

It's a little self-indulgent I agree but at least he's using his fame for good and I fail to see the connection between that and "trance djs."

Just seems like a typical technosnob comment bashing a genre of music that has become undeservedly scrutinized by people that dont even listen to the current stuff and therefore know not what they're talking about.

Paid for parking and arrived at 11:15 pm.

Went to guest list girl - she had not received the list I was on.

Waited until midnight for list to arrive with guest list girl.

Waited for another 30 minutes in the car before going home.

Received call at 2:45 am that list was now at the front door.

Well it's Monday and I've finally gotten some sleep (damn zone)

Got to KoolHaus very late (1230ish). I guess lineby was done because I had to wait 15-20 minutes line which kind of sucked (especially since I had no coat). Security seemed to be extra nice, which was a pleasant surprise. After my friend saw how long the lineup for coat check was, we bought all access wristbands and put her coat in the main room in about 2 minutes.

As for PvD.. wow! What an amazing set. Kinda blew that it was only 3 hours.. but it's 3 hours more of not seeing him at all. I liked the video screen setup. It was just a shame that a few of them stopped working not even an hour into his set. Can't say I was a huge fan of the third world footage either, lol. The crowd was also really cool too. Had a handful of chats with a bunch of people and they were all in aw from Paul. Come back soon!!!!

After PvD finished, I checked out the main room for a little bit. Hung out behind the booth for a good 20-30 minutes watching Vince drop some nasty beats. My god is the train horn ever ing loud on the stage. It almost scared me out of my own skin. The stage also has a great view of the co2 machines unloading onto the crowd. Rounded out the night @ Guv in The Gallery watching Nathan absolutely kill it. Great intro for CZurch afterwards :)

Videos coming soon :)

That's a ing joke! So impressed with that story. If you had waited you would've caught less than half of PvDs set. You should complain to someone.. absolute bollocks.

wow that sux. I guess the only reason to go home was if your ticket was comped, otherwise to arrive with that much lead time, I would have paid on the spot and attended! :(

I wish RJ would clarify that his list being late had nothing to do with the Guvernment.

Rj, that sucks bud. I just showed up at 9:30, got in, wasn't packed at all and that was it.

As for those that didn't open the z103 thread, the set he did on there is [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

You've clarified for me. (As far as I know) It wasn't Guvernment's fault (they have been known to do weird stuff with guest lists - but in this case who knows).

I know. :)
