....lol...he's been the resident dj at the biggest club in north america for over 10 years in a city that has an EDM scene because of what he has contributed to it. He's been loved by Toronto's party goes for more years than alot of people on this board have been on the earth. |

| tbh i don't really dig his style recently but i still have tremendous respect for the man. If it wasn't for him i wouldn't be out clubbing right now, he taught me what electronic music is about some 4-5years ago and his closing sets have always been killer. |

| Didnt read the replies, but MO delivers, especially when theres a big headliner - never seen a better resident opener...the better the headliner, the better MO delivers. nuff said. Big respect MO...one of the most consistant TO residents. Period. Cheers!! |

i have seen mark oliver spin hundreds of times, and i have never been disappointed. there are top 10 dj's that i have seen spin only a few times and been very disappointed. there are very few dj's that can play as consistantly and read the crowd as well as mark oliver can. he is extremely talented and there is a reason why he is the resident of the nations #1 club.
let's face it. alot of us wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. |

| He's only human ... he's not a robot. Sometimes, he might be super tired or not in the zone. Pls, remember ... Mark spins every Sat, from 1 upto 8 hrs. Who else can hold an 11 yr res @ North America's Super Club? Plus, think about the pressure he has when there's a headliner ... opening and following an huge DJ is not an easy job also. |

Mark's closing set after PvD at the KH in 2003 was amazing. You know a closing set from a resident is amazing when you remember it 4 years later.
I just realized, that after my 5.5 years of clubbing in Toronto, and after all the parties I've been to, I've never been to a Mark Oliver solo night! I think that needs to change soon. |

He could travel around the world like all the top 10 on the DJlist, and he's been asked many times. He loves Toronto and his loyal fans.

and he has a family here, which I've heard him say is a much bigger priority than going on the road for gigs.
Graham, even *I* have heard a Mark Oliver solo set! |

It never ceases to amaze me, really. I often like his second set better than the headliner. And that's not meant to imply I didn't like the headliner. |

| I have been critical of his sets aswell but lately he has been throwing down some amazing openers. Great Job mate. Keep that up. Can't wait for your gift party. |
