| Tell her she can save a butt-load of money on her car insurance by switching to Geico. Then she can get CDJ's. |

| ok i convinced her scratching is a waste and she doesnt need it and she agrees. So she is buying the 200's. Now just to close on a mixer in the 150 or less range. |

HAHA
I think its dumb. You shoudnt buy this stuff without the money. Its electronics - what you pay is what you get
So what do you all say as final advice for an under 140 mixer to go with the 200's? She just ordered the 200's so that is out of the way haha. |

Ok thanks almost there. What numark mixer would you say would work at this low a budget with the 200's?
Which ever mixer is cheap and good and works with the 200's ill tell her thats all she can afford. I agree that cdjs are more important than the mixer in most cases especially to start. The fundamentals are in the mixing and not in the pinpoint acuracy of the mixing and effects for beginners.

Needs to top at 800 with the cdj 200's
http://www.tvcity.tv/productview.aspx?ID=1269
which is 660 or so a pair
leaving 140 left
(ignoring taxes and fees now)
Seems all i can find in that range is a
Numark DM1002X MK2 Scratch Mixer
or a
Behringer DJX700
*argh a toss up now is either an effect or the cdj needs to scratch. The 200's i know dont. but maybe a cheap mixer has a scratch effect sound haha. No idea why she needs that crap lol.
How should i end this? |
It makes me sick how much more you can buy for the same money over in the states, you can only buy one cdj200 for £330 here, which is more than $660, and in america or Canada you can buy two for that price! Maybe I should start getting stuff sent over. |

Well, for $30 more you could get dxm06. It's entry level, but certainly not . |

ok telling her to close on the dmx06 later today.
Thank you so much everyone for the help.
To those reading this interested in what to get for that price range: Pioneer cdj200's and a DMX06 Mixer. With cheap sites you can get all this for 800-850.
Ill check in a few hours if anything else shows up as far as a mixer for 140 or less but till then the dmx06 stands winner. |

Got the cdj200's for 645 together and with the 75 dollar mixer she is thanking me alot. The cdjs are new and the mixer i mentioned already. Hoping nothing is wrong with the dxm since its so cheap.
With all your help i managed to help her out big time and find the best for her price. Thanks |
